PIH Health's 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment Reports - Now Available!

We’re excited to share that our 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) reports are now available on our PIH Health website.

Every three years, PIH Health conducts a CHNA as part of our ongoing effort to understand and address the area’s most significant health needs. Separate CHNA reports are required to be produced for each hospital. The PIH Health Downey Hospital, PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital and PIH Health Whittier Hospital reports feature data for each campus primary service area (at zip code level when possible), including maps, infographics, and community input on a variety of topics including demographics, healthy eating, physical activity, social determinants of health, chronic diseases, and leading causes of death.

These reports not only fulfill IRS and state requirements for nonprofit hospitals, but also provide great value to PIH Health and to our many community partners in their program planning and grant-writing efforts.
