Crosspoint Christian Church: Vacation Bible School Sign-Ups

FREE! Vacation Bible School (VBS) | July 27th - 31st

WHITTIER, CA — CrossPoint Christian Church will welcome children across the Whittier community for Illumination Station, a week-long Vacation Bible School running July 27–31, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM nightly. This marks the return of VBS at CrossPoint after a seven-year hiatus, and organizers expect at least 60 children in attendance.

Rooted in John 8:12 — "I am the light of the world" — Illumination Station will guide kids through six interactive stations featuring games, crafts, worship, missions education, and Bible lessons, all centered on the theme of light. The week will culminate in a glow-in-the-dark celebration on the final night.

The program is open to children ages 4 through 5th grade, 3-year-olds, accompanied by a parent, can participate as well. Registration is free and available online.

"We're so excited to bring VBS back to CrossPoint and give kids in our community a fun, meaningful week centered on the light of Christ," said Ryan Ortega, VBS Assistant Director at CrossPoint Christian Church.

Illumination Station is made possible by more than 30 volunteers from the CrossPoint congregation, along with community partners like the Whittier Chamber of Commerce.
