On October 19 and 20, Harmony Center invites all cultural creatives to “live creatively...shop harmoniously” at the 10th Annual Fine Art and Craft Fair fundraising event. The Fair is free to enter and open to all. Proceeds from the event benefit high school art contestants, our 2019 charity partner the Interfaith Food Center, and Harmony Center. Over the past several years, Harmony Center has awarded over $7,000 in cash & prizes to student artists, raised more than $7,000 for our Whittier charity partners, and welcomed thousands of visitors who helped support hundreds of local artists and artisans. We are committed to quality and sharing with our community. Come out with the family and make it a day of creativity.
The Fair creates an opportunity for you to purchase one-of-a-kind crafts and artwork directly from selected award-winning makers from all around Southern California. Offerings will include original paintings, photography, stained glass, and ceramics, as well as a variety of artisan craft works including jewelry, mosaics, woodwork, hand knits, sewn items, and more. Need a break from shopping? Relax in the charming Coffee Garden or check out the prizes galore in our opportunity drawing at the front counter – original art, craft items, gift baskets, plus gift certificates for restaurants, theaters, salons, shops, and services. Take a chance to be a winner!
There’s lots more outside and downstairs! Live music, food truck, kid’s activities, high school art display, and nonprofit booths. Enjoy a full meal from one of the food trucks including local favorite Tepeyac On the Road Snack or have a sweet snack from California’s Best Kettle Korn. Be entertained by performances from Ugly Nelson, Dennis Bryan, Studio Danza, and more. Don’t miss the display of high school artists downstairs. Last year we had over 160 entries! Students have an opportunity to win cash and prizes based on judging by a local professional artist, this year Roberto Chavez.
Seeking Sponsors. Would you like to become a sponsor of this family-friendly, free, cultural event? We’re seeking sponsors who would like to promote to our 1500+ visitors! For as little as $100 you can have an outdoor 10x10 booth space. Other options include flyer-in-a-bag or a donation of a gift certificate for our opportunity drawing.
