Event Description:
Soroptimist International of Whittier is hosting their annual fundraiser, "SI Whittier Dreamliner - Aloha Cruise" and is inviting the community. Any support of their fundraiser will allow them to continue, among others, the following programs:
- Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women
- Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls
- Ruth White Memorial Scholarship Fund: College education for young women
- Lois Neece Award: Recognition of High School girls who have overcome adversity
- SART Center (Sexual Assult Response Team): Partnership with PIH Health and the Whittier Police Department
- Soroptimist Village: Soroptimist International of Whittier is a founding member and has been supporting the low-income housing project for seniors in Norwalk since 1958.
