DESCRIPTION:Vacation Bible School is a great way for children to learn more about the Bible in a fun-filled way. \n\nThe Christian Science Church in Whittier is planning a non-denominational\, three-day Bible-based Vacation Bible School from Wednesday\, June 26\, to Friday\, June 28.  It will be held from 9 am to 12 noon\, for children ages 5 through 12.  There will be snacks each day.\n\nThe theme this year is "Be God's Superhero."  Children will experience the lives and lessons of Bible heroes (such as Esther\, David\, and Joshua) with Bible-based crafts\, games\, and skits.\n\nThe church is located at 8705 Catalina Avenue\, across from East Whittier Middle School.\n\nTo obtain an application\, call the church at 562-693-9116 and leave a message.  There is a nominal fee of $15 for the event (that's just $5 per day).\n\nChildren of all Christian faiths are welcome.
