DESCRIPTION:Attention all runners\, walkers\, and weekend warriors! Get the spider webs out of your running shoes and lace them up to join us at Whittier's 11th Annual Spooktacular 5K Run/Walk on Saturday\, October 31st! There will also be a Creepy Crawly   Mile Dash for children 12 years old & under. All participants will receive a super duper finishers medal\, free ice cream for the kids\, goodie bag\, free pancake breakfast ($3.00 for non-participants)\, and a Snazzy Spooktacular T-Shirt! But wait\, that's not all . . . there will be a Beer Garden (bring ID)\, Freaky Family Friendly Costume Contests with $1\,000 total awarded in various categories\, DJ's along the course\, computerized finish line results\, 1st   3rd place awards in each age category with a cash prize to the top overall male & female 5K finisher\, and adults 18 years and older have a chance to win a Hawaii Give-A-Way\,\n\nThe Whittier Community Foundation's proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the Fire Fighter Tribute Statue.
