DESCRIPTION:The Center for Career and Re-Entry Services in collaboration with the Rio Hondo Region Adult Education Consortium (RHRAEC) is excited to announce the fourth annual Adult Re-Entry Success Conference\, scheduled for Wednesday\, March 20\, 2019 from 5:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. in the Campus Inn! We would appreciate you promoting this conference to adult re-entry and non-traditional students\, and community members who are new to college or returning after an absence.  This conference includes workshops on the following topics:\n\n \n\n	College Resource Fair: Includes a diverse panel of Rio Hondo College services and transfer colleges/ universities with programs that are friendly to the working adult population.  \n	Financial Aid Presentation: Specifically geared to the adult learner\, addressing topics such as managing money wisely and scholarship searches.\n	Navigating My Time Through College Presentation: Created for adult learners this presentation will review graduation and transfer requirements\, assist with managing time for both school and personal life\, and connect students with important campus resources.\n	Stress Management Presentation: Designed specifically for adult students\, this presentation will explore ways to deal with stressors such as balancing family responsibilities\, work schedule\, and the demands of school.\n\n A FREE DINNER will be provided to registered conference attendees as well as an opportunity drawing with prizes! \n\n  \n\nSeating is limited\, students are encouraged to please RSVP as soon as possible for this event online at: http://bit.ly/CCRSRSVP2019
